Investigation continues into fatal police-involved shooting in Chesaning

CHESANING, MI — Officials are continuing to investigate a police-involved shooting that left a Chesaning man dead at his home, though they are keeping details close to their vest.
“The lead investigator is looking to send the report to the prosecutor in the next week or two,” Michigan State Police Lt. Lizabeth Rich said. “They are still waiting on some reports.”
Detectives from the MSP Second District Investigative Response Team are investigating the shooting.
