Investment firm Macquarie to buy Beauparc

Macquarie Asset Management has agreed to buy Irish waste firm Beauparc Utilities from founder Eamon Waters and shareholder Blackstone Tactical Opportunities Fund for an undisclosed sum.
This comes only a week after another part of the Macquarie investment firm bought Evercreech Renewable Energy. UK assets include Mountain Recycling (pictured) and LSS Waste Management.
Beauparc is a recycling and processing business that also has a growing presence in the UK m and the Netherlands. 
Leigh Harrison, head of Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets, said: “We see a significant opportunity to build on Beauparc’s strong reputation in the sector, investing to support the growth of the circular economy through projects that divert waste from landfill.
