Irish wolfhound puppy fulfils a little boy's 'Wish' : vimars

When Elliot Lake native Julie Beamish got the call from Make a Wish Foundation asking for one of her Irish wolfhound puppies for a Wish family, she jumped at the chance.
“The family always wanted an Irish wolfhound for their little boy, so they did their research and decided they were ready to adopt one,” Julie says. “Make a Wish contacted me and asked if I would like to be in their program and I said absolutely!
“We interviewed the family and found them to be a good fit. We have 100 people on our waiting list, but we still took the family on.”
