Bi-Polar Ionization air purification units have been installed into the center's air-conditioning system. Seats in the theater will now be assigned and capacity limited. Additional safety measures include plexiglass guards, floor decals, and hand sanitizer stations. Masks must be worn and social distancing must be practiced. Guests will be asked not to arrive earlier than 30 minutes before the show they've come to see. Those who purchased tickets in advance, but don't feel well, or were exposed to COVID-19 within two weeks of a showing, will be asked to stay home and email support@burnsfilmcenter.org. In the fall, JBFC memberships were extended for six months and members were provided with discounts, free screenings of virtual screenings, events and series.
