Police have today released a custody picture of a man jailed for helping an offender. Mohammed Jawaid Khan, 53, of Leylands Lane, Heaton, Bradford, who was cleared of the murder of Paul Ackroyd but found guilty of assisting an offender, has been imprisoned for a total of four years for that offence and conspiracy to supply Class A drugs. Khan had earlier pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply Class A drugs. Khan was jailed for his part in the incident as a man and teenager were today given life sentences for the brutal murder of Bradford builder Mr Ackroyd, 37, a much-loved son and father.
