Japan sends a modified Pentax 300mm F4 lens into space aboar

Ricoh Imaging Japan has announced that its Pentax DA 300mm F4 lens is aboard the Kitsune 6 nanosatellite launched into space last month. The satellite, operating from the International Space Station, performs high-resolution imaging of Earth.
