During their recent meeting, the Johnson County School Board discussed a contract for repair work to be performed on the Buffalo High School building. Kim Glasgow, Director of Facilities & Grounds for the district, said in a written report that the bid received from Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc. of Beachwood, Ohio was awarded by BOCES, or the Board of Cooperative Educational Services. The contract amount is for just under $73,000 for repairs to the facade at BHS, and repairs to the concrete and masonry joints. Money for the project will come from the district’s Major Maintenance Account. The board voted to accept and approve the contract for repairs.
