Jelani Woods is headed back east.
Woods, a Georgia native, announced his commitment to Virginia on Thursday evening, just three days after the former Oklahoma State Cowboy back entered the transfer portal.
Blessed to announce that I will be continuing my career at The University of Virginia. I will like to thank @UVACoachBronco@CoachAnae@Coach2J for the amazing opportunity and I’m ready to get to work. #GoHoos#Virginia#Wahoopic.twitter.com/ojCyfBNOId— LANi (@jelani_thegreat) December 25, 2020
Woods was a fan-favorite in Stillwater, making the position change from quarterback to tight end. He developed into a solid blocker for the Cowboys, but OSU fans often showed frustration with how little Woods was used in the passing game.
