Posted 27 January 2021 10:12 British Airline Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have announced that they will operate flights and city breaks from Manchester Airport to Iceland throughout Summer 2022. Flights will be operated on Mondays and Thursdays between April and October from Manchester Airport to Keflavík Airport. Customers can choose between flight-only with Jet2.com or a package option with Jet2CityBreaks. This comes in direct response to British holidaymakers and also gives Icelandic nationals access to the city of Manchester and the North West of England. Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks started flying to Iceland in 2019. “We know there is great demand from our customers for flights and city breaks to the stunning destination of Iceland,” says Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays. “We are delighted to be launching flights and city breaks to run in Summer 22 from Manchester Airport. There is a lot of pent-up demand, and we know how popular our award-winning flights and city breaks will be.”
