John Wright was beaten with an extendable baton and stabbed in the back with a knife during a violent confrontation in Stockton town centre last December. This morning Jordan Vaughan was found guilty of murder after delivering the fatal blow with a knife. His co-accused Kienan Johnson was cleared of murder but convicted of manslaughter after using the baton to deliver a series of blows to the body and legs of the 41-year-old.
