Picture: SUPPLIED The joint Australian and New Zealand medical team that arrived last week to assist in Fiji’s COVID-19 containment efforts met their Fijian counterparts at the FEMAT Field Hospital in Suva yesterday. The meeting discussed Fiji’s current COVID-19 situation and the team thanked Fiji’s frontline heroes for their outstanding contributions to the fight against COVID-19. Australian High Commissioner John Feakes said he was grateful for the warm welcome given to the medical team, showing Fiji’s legendary warmth that remained on display even during difficult times.
