One of the first survivors of coronavirus in Grimsby is now enjoying life once more now he is fully vaccinated.
Philip Massen, 88, nearly died when he contracted the infection – but he has now completed his Covid journey after having his second dose of the life-saving vaccine.
The former RAF ambulance driver praised his superhero NHS staff for saving his life and urged everyone to get vaccinated against the "wicked" virus.
