Attorneys for "contestees" maintain suit should be halted on procedural and other grounds 5:45 pm, Dec. 10, 2020 × Edwin Hahn MOORHEAD — A Minnesota District Court judge said Thursday, Dec. 10, he will issue a ruling by noon on Monday deciding whether a lawsuit should move forward involving the Nov. 3 election and the race for Minnesota House District 4A. The suit was filed in Clay County District Court on Nov. 30 by several "contestants," including Edwin Hahn, a Republican from Moorhead who lost the race for the Minnesota House District 4A seat to Democrat Heather Keeler. Besides Keeler, other "contestees" in the suit include Clay County Auditor and Treasurer Lori Johnson and Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon.
