KNBN NewsCenter1 February 25, 2021 PIERRE, S.D. — A judge ordered Thursday that no more information be released in Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg’s case. The move comes the same day Governor Kristi Noem says she’s called on the Department of Public Safety to release more information. South Dakota Chief Justice David Gilbertson assigned by order Retired Circuit Court Judge John Brown to oversee the case. The motion was filed by Ravnsborg’s lawyer to prevent the release of investigation materials was filed “to protect defendant’s due process rights.” Tuesday, the DPS released two interviews with AG Jason Ravnsborg that were conducted in the days and weeks following the fatal crash that killed 55-year-old Joseph Boever west of Highmore on September 12.
