In this Article Junya Watanabe MAN has presented its Fall/Winter 2021 collection, focusing on updates to traditional menswear styles through a diverse range of collaborations. Throughout the collection, Watanabe’s outerwear stands out with subtle updates including military-style liner jackets combined with traditional knitwear or parkas produced from a range of materials. In true Watanabe style, the collection featured a range of unexpected collaborations. Collaborators in this collection include brands Watanabe has worked with on numerous occasions — such as Carhartt and Levi’s — as well as new partners including London-based footwear label Stepney Workers Club. The collaborative slip-on shoes feature Stepney Workers Club’s handshake logo on the tongue, as well as “JWCdGMAN” printed on the outsole.
