K-State to begin spring semester remotely - News Radio KMAN

Kansas State University has made a change to their spring semester schedule.
With the goal to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, Kansas State has announced that they will begin the first two weeks of the spring semester with remote learning classes. In the announcement made Friday, President Richard Myers said as they anticipate a surge in cases as students and staff return to campus, they saw this action as a way to help stay safe.
Student services will be operational on Monday, January 25 following the same safety protocols as the fall semester, and move-in dates for those living on campus will not change. Most classes are scheduled to begin remotely on January 25. The university plans to return to the hybrid and in-person teaching modalities that were used in the fall semester on February 8, after the two week period.
