Updated: 4:49 PM CDT May 17, 2021 KMBC 9 News Staff The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department's Sex Crimes Unit said it is attempting to identify a man in two recent aggravated assaults downtown.Police said the first assault happened near the parking garage of Barney Allis Plaza at Central and Wyandotte Avenue on May 9 at 9:15 a.m.Investigators said the second assault was reported in the parking garage at 1261 Main St. on Thursday at 6:28 a.m.Authorities said the man should be considered armed.Anyone who can identify the man or has any information is asked to call the Tips Hotline at 816-474-8477.
