It's hard to deny that the past school year has been difficult for teachers and students alike when it comes to the learning process.
The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the learning routine that was followed for so long because students bounced from online learning to face-to-face on many occasions in the past 15 months. Few doubt that it has caused many students to fall behind where they should be in their studies at this time.
Last week Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer just suggested schools to take a two week pause from face-to-face learning and going to virtual learning due to a surge of COVID-19 cases around the state in school-age children. Michigan is being called the epicenter of the COVID pandemic recently with the high number of people testing positive, and it’s hard not to turn on the television without seeing a national news organization talking about the surge.
