Over 20,000 displaced. Over 3,500 structures damaged or destroyed. Residents who have been able to return to their homes are finding theres nothing left. Everybodys house is gone. In particular theres one particular spanish mission, a church dating all the way back to 1823. It is just one of many treasured sites here in sonoma and the surrounding areas. Last night officers went door to door urging 5,000 residents who live in calistoga to get out of their homes. The city is calling the mandatory evacuation a success.
