But some employees here at the ford dealership think it is. If you look behind me, you can see the crime tape up. Still investigators on the scene. Officers stay san jose around 6 00 last night, the Morgan Hill Police department got multiple calls about the shooting at the ford dealership. Officers got here within minutes. They found the suspect on the ground with a handgun in his hand. Police found two other male victims inside the fort dealership. From my understanding, one of the Parks Department employees, an older gentleman, was fired today and came back. This happened i think around 6 00, came back, shot two of the managers who would have been the individuals that fired him. Reporter that employee went on to say several people ran into the la kinta . In the south bay were learning what may have led to the murdersuicide in san jose that left five people dead. According to the mercury news, the gunman was upset that his wifes family got visas while his family was denied. The suspect is identified as chi ta. His wife escaped and called 9 1 911. 23yearold miles halls mother and grandmother called 911. His family says hall was known to police and thats what his mother told the dispatcher. Hes going to be aggressive to the police. Five officers responded. Police released their footage as well as video from a Home Security camera. Officers say hall refused to drop the metal bar and kept running toward them even after being hit by bean bag rounds. Two officers then fired their weapons. The familys Attorney Says the video shows hall was actually running alongside officers. The fact that he was trying to get away, you dont get to shoot somebody down who is running away unless that person has committed a deadly offense. The hall family has already filed a wrongful death claim against police. Their Attorney Says a federal civil rights lawsuit will also be filed. The wife of ghost ship defendant Derick Almena will return to the stand today for her second day of testimony. Yesterday she admitted they didnt follow fire codes when renovating the warehouse. She said she often saw police officers, firefighters at the warehouse. She cried when a photo of her family was shown.
