The garage was shut down as police were looking for the shooters who opened fire inside of the tanforan mall yesterday afternoon. The b. A. R. T. Trains also didnt stop at this station. They shut it down for police. Commuters were frustrated. I want to go home and want to take my car with me. So i want to be able to drive back here tomorrow morning to go to work. Reporter b. A. R. T. Did provide a bus bridge between South San Francisco and sfo. But the inconvenience were nostr it stretched throughout the system. The 12th street station in oakland reported it was shut down temporarily and while police were out there searching for the suspects. People reported very crowded platforms. So it was a rough afternoon commute on b. A. R. T. Hoping today will be better and smoother. Everything is open this morning. Police, though, were worried that the shooters had hopped on b. A. R. T. San bruno fire chief said the department was prepared for this emergency. In fact, they trained for three days just a few weeks ago. Weve done recent training here in san bruno and our officers firefighters work very closely with Police Officers and their immediate concern was lets get the rescue task force together and get in there and pull victims out.
