Can do upgrade work. They will be replacing 50yearold track. With the approval of measure rr a couple years ago, 2016, it provides 3. 5 billion to rebuild the system. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries. Redfin offices in the bay area are closed after police say a fired employee made a veiled threat about guns. Abc 7 News Reporter kate larsen spoke to police and employees. An anonymous source told abc 7s iteam that a fellow redfin employee told a manager this is why people bring shot guns to work, after that person got fired. Redfin is a real estate and brokerage company. Police say the fired employee who made the alleged threat worked out of the dublin office. A statement says in part, a redfin contractor made concerning comments over the phone. We tookd swift action and worked closely with Law Enforcement to ensure our bay area employees were safe. We closed four bay area offices. They will not describe who the former employee is and refuse to communicate the threat to the extended workforce. This is just another example of their poor corporate practices putting dollars over the health and safety of their workforce. Its frightening. While three east bay offices remain closed, the San Francisco office reopened wednesday. On thursday employees leaving the office say they were aware of the threat. Im not too concerned, not too frightened. People get upset all the time. Reporter jason is a software engineer. He says because of the incident there was a Security Guard on their office floor this week as well as counselors. I feel safe, especially with Security Guards and all the attention, caring that our management have given us. Reporter pleasanton pd say theyve spoke tone the fired and employee and they said they checked and dont believe he has any access to weapons. They say at this point no criminal charges have been filed, but that the investigation is on going.
