It gets too warm, too windy, thats why the fire danger will begin tonight and linger through wednesday morning. The complete opposite this weekend. Highs mainly in the 60s with breezy conditions after being in the 100 the next couple of days. Today we ramp up mid to upper 80s in the south bay. Santa cruz, low to mid 80s on the peninsula. Low to mid 70s along the coast with that extra sunshine. Mid to upper 70s for downtown, south San Francisco. Sausalito will touch 80. Upper 80s around vallejo. As you head into the valleys, look at this. Already the 90s showing up in many neighborhoods. Good news, in the valleys, where most of us live, it will be mild with mid 50s to mid 60s. The yellows showing up, thats in the hills where we wil be in the mid 60s to mid 70s. At 9 00, high fire danger starting to develop. Thats the yellow. Once we get to midnight, already very high fire danger started to show up in the north bay, to a lesser extent the east bay hills. During the day tomorrow, it will drop back a little bit. You can see the very high fire danger goes away. As we head towards tomorrow night, it gets back into the very high category once again. We have to be careful both of those nights.
