Reporter they say they are now going to be looking into whether that earthquake possibly played a role in starting this fire. It is all clear here now. The fire is out. There is even a nice breeze in the air here to help kind of flush any questions out of here for residents about the air quality. But it did create this fire created a dramatic scene here yesterday. Look at all the black smoke that filled the air. This started just before 2 00 yesterday afternoon at the Nustar Energy facility in crockett. Two large ethanol tanks were burning. The fire also spread to a nearby hillside. Officials issued a shelter in place order. They were concerned about the air quality. The shelter in place, the idea being youre in your home. You closed all doors and windows, you have shut off air conditioning, heating, any faps th fans that will protect you in your home from most of the particulate matter. Reporter officials have not said what started the fire but they will be looking into whether monday nights earthquake possibly played a role. No one was hurt in this fire. Officials announced the fire was contained just after 9 00 last night. It was around 9 30 they lifted that shelter in place order. Interstate 80 has been shut down all day. Its been reopened.
