But some, including stanford law professor michelle dabber say the University Needs to do more. They should be treated like a pants on fire emergency. And i think the first thing they should be doing is running into those dormitories to talk to students and let them know about the drugs and talk about it face the face. The University Says at this point its department of Public Safety does not have evidence to verify the reports of drugging, but added we take every report seriously and encourage students to continue to report them. The police are asking students with any relevant information to come forward and provide it in order to assist with the investigation. Today the bart supervisor who rescued a man from the tracks, saving his life joined us in studio at abc7 for midday live. The rescue was captured showing john oconnor pulling Rayshawn Jackson to safety sunday night. The platform was packed with people following a raiders game. Abc7 news anchor kumasi aaron asked john about his splitsecond decision. That train was so close. I was thinking he wasnt going to make it. That was my thought. And just thought i cant watch him die. Yeah, its sorry. Its pretty traumatic. But at the time you know, you dont have time to think. You just do something, you know. Dont reach for your phone. Do something. Really well said. The man john rescued knew just how close of a call it was. I heard the train. I felt the vibration on the rails coming, and i could see the light coming out of the tunnel. As soon as i seen the light, i jumped up and tried to get out of the way. And i missed my jump the first jump. And i did it again. I actually felt like the man grabbed me in the midair and took me out of the way. John and rayshawn shared a hug on the platform and john shared his final thoughts with us on the air.
