The vallejo fire engine rolled out to the call of a baby being born thursday night. She couldnt stop pushing, i felt like were having a baby. Susan hat hart has been a 911 dispatcher 31 years. Like many delivery calls before guided the family on what to do before paramedics arrived. It was like just a flood of emotions going through us, like, im excited. I got to stay calm. Kor lists granddaughter was the one in labor putting dispatch on speaker. They were so great. They seemed so calm considering. I put my hand down and just out of no where the baby starts popping out. I thought, oh, my god, no. The 911 call came in at 8 03. Six minutes later the baby boy made his grand entrance at 4 pounds, 12 ounces, born almost two months early. She hasnt had a baby shower. She hasnt had anything yet. Korless says a name hasnt been picked out yet. The paramedic who cut the cord cut their minds. They the mom asked who cut the cord and what my name was. It was the first time i cut a cord. Kor lets and the family say they are grateful for the First Responders that helped deliver a small healthy baby boy. I commend them for everything they did.
