Like many delivery calls before guided the family on what to do before paramedics arrived. It was like just a flood of emotions going through us, like, im excited. I got to stay calm. Kor lists granddaughter was the one in labor putting dispatch on speaker. They were so great. They seemed so calm considering. I put my hand down and just out of no where the baby starts popping out. I thought, oh, my god, no. The 911 call came in at 8 03. Six minutes later the baby boy made his grand entrance at 4 pounds, 12 ounces, born almost two months early. She hasnt had a baby shower. She hasnt had anything yet. Korless says a name hasnt been picked out yet. The paramedic who cut the cord cut their minds. They the mom asked who cut the cord and what my name was. Authorities found the remains of six of the seven people aboard a helicopter that crashed at the top of the mountain on the island of kauai. The chopper on its way back from a sight seeing tour of the na pali coast. It was including two groups including two children and the crash. There is no indication that nechb survived. The ntsb is investigating the cause of the crash right now. All right, traffic is moving again on the grapevine section of interstate 5 on the tahone pass north of los angeles. This after a christmas forced closure. Drivers weretuck for 36 hours before the chp escorted the first group off 11 00 yesterday morning. One driver died in his truck during the closure. But organically people saw the letters stacked up in the corner of the apartment. Ill just take one. It was remarkable when we first saw them. Even on the front you could see dear santa. So it had this magic to it. We had no idea how they got there. The area back in the 1,800s sort of sectioned off the area between 23rd, eighth and ninth into Chelsea Square owned by a guy by the name of Clement Mark Moore who wrote twas the night before christmas. When people saw that they the thought he was santa. The letters still come to the apartment. I think its weird we dont know where they came from or are where they wet the address. There is so many. When we got our first letter it was exciting. We were like my gosh this is real. You know, these kids think that our address is the north pole. Its sweet to know you know we can have a little part in helping a kid get all of their santa wishes. We felt the need to act. We got a bunch of friends and family in our community to get together and created a nonprofit called miracle on 22nd street. And every year we connect families in need to real life elves. I felt this overwhelming sense of i have to get this done. I have to get all these fulfilled. Whats come out of it is i know we didnt get them all fulfilled the first year. But now every year we do fulfill every letter. So its nice. Last year we had over 500 letters that were fulfilled. So 50 oh families got the things they needed and got an amazing holiday.
