This represents an investment of 13 million. We dont want to have a Voting System that is online and susceptible to hacking as you may say. So its very important that our system is not connected to the internet. Reporter most of the nearly 950,000 registered voters here use mailin ballots which went in two weeks ago. 55,000 of them have already been processed. Under the states new voters choice act, every Santa Clara County voter automatically receives a mailed ballot. Voters can choose to cast their ballot in person at any of the 110 voting centers. Most will be at secure, accessible meeting halls with access to power to run electronics. Even the ballots have changed. This is the old ballot where you used to have to mark and fill in the gap between the arrow. On the new ballot you have little red circles, and youre basically filling in the bubble. All these new changes could lead to confusion. It will be because this is a whole new model. This is why were trying to have as much stuff as we can and staff at the front called the greeters. Police say jonathan anderson, this man, interrupted a class monday, forcing the woman to the ground and pulling down her clothes. Other people at the gym rushed to help. They pushed the man off the women and held him until police got there and arrested him. Police say anderson gave a detailed confession. We have side scanners, we had a dog out there trying to detect scent, and we had nothing turn up. Reporter four days into the search, the investigation has shifted from land to water. Rescue teams used boats equipped with sonar. We searched the west shore line, the east side of the bay. And we havent seen them yet. Reporter rescue teams have already covered a twomile area of point reyes sea shore as well as the airbnb rental where the couple was staying. It may now require going back for another look. I know the search managers are looking at all the tracks from the gps devices weve had on searchers to determine if theres any possible way we missed spots or we want to check spots again.
