We dont know when california Public Schools will reopen but we could get answers of what they will look like when they do. Actually exaggerate existing issues and causing people to eporter zak grew up in san co francisco and now lives in los angeles and Mental Health advocate. I needed to heal and recover myself. Reporter his struggles began after his father died by suicide at home in marin in 2014. My becoming a Mental Health advocate came after my dad died by suicide. I experienced serious low point in my life. I felt completely emotionally disregulated and experiencing ptsd and was selfmedicating to the point that i wanted to not feel anything. And i found that the most healing experience for me was committing to service around causes. Reporter zak is on the board to bring change to mind founded by glenn close to end the stigma around mental l illness. Adviser for inseparable a National Organization focused on pragmatic Mental Health policy and launching a stress anxiety relief company. There is a lot to do. I see that theres tail wind relating to reducing stigma associated with Mental Health. Reporter can you sort of talk about your own experience and what helped you . Talk therapy and engaging in Community Support groups. I personally stay away from drugs and alcohol. Thats been very helpful for me. Especially during this time. Its enabled me to address the challenges that im dealing both with anxiety and also depression head on. And now youre a dad yourself. What for your dad and your son and your family. I hope my son can grow up in a stigmafree world. When it comes to sharing and being vulnerable, i think we have to shift our mindset from thinking about it as weakness to a strength. Low to mid 60s along the coast with upper 60s in downtown, south San Francisco and sausalito. 75 to 80. Along the east bay shore 71 at richmond and fremont at 74 and as you move inland, 77 at san ramon to 84 in brentwood. Tonight look at that, 40s and 50s just like this morning. According to an april survey, only 14 of travelers feel safe taking a domestic flight and 17 per feel safe at a hotel or resort. I think logically, people will venture gingerly out and do things before they get on an airplane. Thats just the way it is going to be. Yeah, local people will do local things. San joses airport is seeing a massive plunge in the number of travelers. Our media partner the Bay Area News Group is reporting that the number of passengers at maneta san jose airport was down nearly 60 in march. And that airport spokesperson expects a 95 drop in april. Delta giving us the first look at the future of flying. The airline says before every flight theyre going to disinfect planes with spray. Were told planes will get a full wipe down before a flight crew does an inspection. What we have done today lays the foundation for where were going to go in the future. We can also expect some boarding changes. Passengers will be asked to keep their distance and the back of the plane will board first.
