The governor says this new phase is being allowed to happen because california continues to flatten the curve. He is encouraging everybody to keep up the good work of social distancing, staying home and Wearing Masks. He says the precautions are going to be especially important as we start to reopen california. Its up to local counties, once again, to decide whether or not to allow them to return to inperson services. Masks are strongly recommended. Schools across the state could face budget cuts and that could mean layoffs and furloughs. There are six jobs on the chopping block and one could affect the cleanliness of schools. Dont cut corners at this time because its not time to cut corners. The supervisor of the Palo Alto Unified School district making a desperate plea to keep her job. The health is viral. You know, disinfecting and sanitizing door knobs, and rest rooms. The recommended job cuts that have been announced in palo alto could be seen in other districts as well. Cardosa manages the custodians at 17 school sites in the district and she believes her position would be more important next school year where we could see the older students rotating atschool days and a bigger priority on cleaning k through 5 schools all the time. Its the east bay valleys that will be the hottest. 74 at 8 00, and 92 at noon. A couple hours with tripledigit heat, which means asphalt and cars could be as warm as 140 to 150 degrees, and thats why you want to stay away from those if you can, and still 89 at 8 00. We are hearing from east bay congressman for the First Time Since a running accident nearly cost him his life. He explains a bad fall happened while he was trying to cross an kp kp intersection in d. C. I took a fall, and i i my elbow as i flew through the air and landed on my ribs, and i broke multiple ribs and hurt spleen and was in quite a bit of pain. He had pain medication and ten days later he was back at the hospital for pneumonia he developed. He ended up spending five weeks in the icu and four of them on a ventilator. I was able to have a conversation with the medical staff, and my family he says at one point he was given a 10 chance of surviving. As you can hear, his voice is still horse. Doctors do respeexpect him to m full recovery. And then one 13yearold jack rico got four college degrees, and now he has a full scholarship to the university of nevada where he will pursue his bachelors degree. I am 13, so i dont want to rush everything. I am still trying to figure it out but i want to focus on learning right now because thats what i love to do. Okay, jack. We respect that. Jack started college when he was 11. He earned the four Associates Degrees in two years. Wow. Jack, i am just fascinated by jack. Me, too. Because its kind of like it seems like a 23yearold speaking through the body of a 13yearold, right . Right . The composure. Yeah, he doesnt want to rush. He doesnt want to rush.
