Young children and adults with medical reasons are exempt. We asked passengers their thoughts on this new crackdown. A lot of Different Reasons why people dont want to wear it. First amendment rights and things like that. I think that they should, as a courtesy, wear the mask. For everybody that is traveling. But you cant make them. And then to put them on a nofly list is excessive. It is fair because you have to think about the rest of the people. Other airlines say they will be getting tougher when it comes to enforcing the mask rule. Alaska, delta, hawaiian, jetblue and southwest all saying they will decide on consequences when someone refuses to wear one and they are expected to announce more specific policies in the next few days.
