Reporter over the past three months, the facility staffers didnt wear masks, change their gloves, properly sanitize and refuse to give her medicine on several occasions. There are definite staffing issues. Im assuming theyre really overworked. Reporter the iteam reached out to the facility but was declined an interview citing hippa violations. But they did provide this statement saying our facility has been cooperating with state and county officials in terms of ensuring appropriate protocols are in place. Yet medicare rates this facility as below average, receiving 60 deficiencies in the past four years. Including a 43,000 fine for infectionrelated issues. One star for health inspections. Two stars for staffing. Staffing was a crisis in california Nursing Homes long before this virus hit.
