Lowell high school in San Franciscos sunset district is a nationally recognized school. Currently students are admitted based on grades and test scores. Because of the pandemic grades and scores have mostly been eliminated, so the proposal is that all entering freshmen would have an equal opportunity to attend through the Public School lottery system.
