Personally thinking i had something to prove fueled me the last year and a half since my injury. It fueled me because no matter what i have done in my career up to this point there is still little rumblings of doubt or comparing me to the history of the game and has he done this, has he done that. So, you know, having that in my head, having that in my mind saying to myself, why not still have something to prove, i think it fuels me. Lebron, all the circumstances surrounding this one being in orlando, having a four and a half month hiatus away from family, everything on in the country, how does that add context to this fourth ring versus the other three . I think theyre all special in their own right. They all have their obstacles both on and off the floor. But one is not less than the other. Because when youre able to put yourself in this position to be able to win a championship, the first thing you start to think about is how much work you have put in over the course of the year. How much you have sacrificed, how much you have dedicated to the game and to your craft. Thats always been the most fulfilling thing for me besides seeing my teammates as happy as they are, is being able to know that you can put the work in, literally trust the process, live about the process and then see the results. And i think not only from a basketball player but from everybody, whatever craft, whatever work space you in, to be able to put the work in and live along the process and build along the process and then be able to see results, i think we all live f that moment. You and i had this conversation before because if you are of a certain age and certain generation, lebron is by far and away the best player you have ever seen. I dont know if it will be enough to overcome the wiser or older crowd, if you will, especially in this day and age with everything being so readily available to him. I think history will be kind to him as it was to some former players. But clearly have to take appreciation for what has actually happened right now, what hes done. To be able to bounce like that is not easy to do. A lot of his moves are calculated. But as you heard him say, he clearly still carries a chip on his shoulder and doesnt think his work is done. I dont think he personally is ready to put himself in that position. Although his surroundings and peers may want to. The current state of affairs and the current generation, i think this is also what fuels him to be able to have longevity because i think at the end of the day, larry, those six titles will always be six titles. I think he will do whatever he can to get to six. There is no other argument because there are no accomplishments behind that. So it is pretty close. And if its a a a a a a koeget. Nice to have an argument or conversation around a nice cocktail for those of us as we get older. Or just the cocktail. You dont need an excuse. You dont need an excuse. Well, its a big problem when you have two of the five best players on one team and clearly a management thats committed to do whatever they can to surround those guys with some nice fit pieces, lets not forget they had to find some guys that were able to fit under a salary cap, to fit in there. I thought rob pelinka got robbed of the general manager of the year award. Youve got to find those guys. I thought he did a great job of doing that. Clearly talked about what rondo brought to the table. You mentioned about passing to a. D. One thing he will have to do a better job of to take this torch is learn firsthand from lebron what he does do to invest in his body because it is an event every time a. D. Goes down with a tweak here or there. Clearly he has some fragility to attend to to have a chance to carry this one. But hes in good hands and in the right place and in good hands with lebron to start out. This is what the lakers had in mind all along. When he was first hired and they put him on the staff, the notion was that, well, he will be fired in the middle of the season or whenever that happens if it goes badly. Well, one for one in championships. And this is a guy supposedly wasnt good enough with the magic, wasnt good enough with the pacers, was good enough to win a title with lebron and a. D. Thats the idea about sports. Its really about match making and you have to find a place that appreciates you, can allow you to go and really not to seed anything to circumstances. It would be easy to say, look, were going to go into next year and look for opportunities for the team to earn a championship. He took what was in front of him and he made the best of it and put his players in a position to be successful. Coach to coach, what did you think of vogel and the adjustments he made. Because they went small tonight. They sat Dwight Howard who played some good minutes in the playoffs in particular in this series. Coaching lebron can overshadow some of those tweaks and moves clearly. And it is easy for the armchair coaches which were not. Were professional coaches as we like to say in the studio. Not paid as well and dont have the pressure. But i thought frank did a great job. Just dont screw it up. Thats the easy thing to say. I think frank put himself in a good position to keep with this team because as you said he was out the door the day that he got the job. Everyone was already writing his ticket out. So i think for everyone thats dealt with that and then put the pressure of being in the bubble on top of that, i think frank did a tremendous job. Agreed. All right. Prior to striking eight victims. Agonizing scene and witnesses describe three people being pulled from under the vehicle. From across the restaurant the Business Owner felt helpless and called 911. Were in an accident. And people ran away some tried to help. One person is under the car. Police confirm all alought victims are in the hospital. Two have life threatening injuries. Hundreds benefitted from a food give away and amazing stoiries f survival and property protection. These food boxes were going fast outside the hotel.
