Reporter the county also saw its highest daily number of covid19 hospitalizations at just under 200 patients. Troubling numbers at a time of year when most hospitals are already busy because of the cold and flu season. Were extremely concerned about what this means for our hospitals ability to care for not only people with covid19 but for other people who need access to care in our hospitals. Reporter stanford hospital is ready to implement the surge plan if icu rates continue to rise. I feel as though for those people who just cant resist getting together that there will be significant consequences.
