While the fire was happening and the cars were exploding, we would duck into the water. Reporter residents returning to find their homes reduced to piles of ash and rubble. More than 2200 structures damaged or destroyed. More than 85 were residential. Hundreds and hundreds of cars are lined up, waiting for that opportunity to go back to their community. Its been four days and they are waiting a grim journey to see whats left of their homes. They wont let us get through. Reporter officials opened one route into west maui for residents who must show proof of residence. We saw many people turned away. The state attorney general has announced a comprehensive review of malleys evacuation policies including systems for notifying residents to get out during emergencies, notifications many here say they never received. In the north bay marin county Officials Say accidental overdoses are the leading cause of death for residents 55 and younger. The Health Department launched a new campaign to try to tackle the Public Health crisis. Seven out of 10 Overdose Deaths involve fentanyl. Health officials continue to raise awareness about narcan, a substance that can save an overdose victims life. New details on a flight scare that happened in december. A report by the National Transportation safety board says a miss communication between pilots because the plane caused the plane to nosedive. A new pack has been found into lumley county. Officials think the new pack may be its descendants. Gray wolves are endangered and they were hunted to extinction in california 100 years ago.
