A witness telling us one man had to be pulled from a car fire crews say three vehicles were involved, injuring at least 14 people. And a spokesperson for ac transit says 12 of those injured were on the bus, including the driver. The information that i have from our crews is that everyone was conscious and speaking on board our bus. As for how many people were on board the bus, he says thats still unclear. It does appear that, other riders were on board and did not sustain injury. And left the scene on their own accord. He says their road supervision crew was on scene, talking to witnesses and trying to piece together what caused the crash. The facts seem to suggest that a chrysler 300 was traveling in the southbound lanes of international boulevard. It broadsided another vehicle that was attempting a left turn. The impact between the two cars sent the chrysler 300 over the Center Median and into the northbound lanes, and struck the temple line one bus head on. The acting Deputy Director of san jose animal care and services said people may be well intentioned when running rescues, but overcrowding is detrimental.
