Kinston/Jones Free Press (kfp) A Kinston man with felon convictions from 2013 and 2014 was found guilty of possessing a firearm at least two times in 2019. Anthony Jamaal Lee, 32, of Kinston was sentenced Wednesday to 57 months in prison, according to Eastern North Carolina Attorney's office. Lee also was sentenced to three years of supervised release for two counts of firearm possession he pled guilty to on March 25. Lee was found in possession of a 9mm gun during a 2019 while at a traffic stop and again later that same year he was caught by a confidential informant with a gun on his hip during a drug investigation. A search warrant found a black Smith & Wesson .40 caliber pistol.
