Green beer is overrated. But I did pick up my own corned beef to boil for St Patrick’s Day. Looks like I won’t be alone. There was a short line at the corned beef section as some customers have to handle each and every package before they finally pick the first one they touched. Hope your hands are clean. Glad you’re wearing a mask. Not that I am accusing you of spreading the ‘rona onto a plastic package. That would be sac-religious, being St Patrick’s Day and all. Geaghan’s in Bangor announced its not having its St Patrick’s Day bash like they usually do. But in a great community gesture they will cook dinner for the area's homeless population and the staff will deliver at least 50 corned beef meals today to the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter.
