We have been hearing different versions of what actually happened. Were here in unincorporated in belmont in San Mateo County where the shooting took place. Apparently after the dog malled its owner. This dog was extremely vicious. Reporter this is dogland a rescue center in belmont. The 6yearold owner was involved in a dog bite incident that turned into a Police Crime Scene on elmer street wednesday afternoon. A neighbor shows pictures of the commotion. Where the owner was says he was forced to shoot his dog. They were walking along without any sign the dog zieted to attack. That story doesnt match from people at the scene including a friend who said the man was walking two dogs. The two dogs started to get unruly. And the one dog attacked the other. And he tried to stop that. And thats when the dog attacked him. And then he pulled out a gun. Yes he pulled a gun out. He always has something there in case one of the animals happened to get out of control. Reporter other people who didnt want to be on camera also said the man handed off the gun to an employee and moving the dead dog when the officer stopped him. He stopped the guy in the car. He takes in animals that should be euthanized and he takes care of them. Jameson first showed up on the fbi radar in september after a confidante told agents jameson was on known radical islamic internet chat rooms pledging support to isis.
