Only a few bay area cities allow safe and sane fireworks. In san jose, the city has activated its online reporting tool. That allows people to report illegal fireworks directly to police for the computer or from the smartphone. Last year the city received more than a thousand online reports of illegal fireworks activity. Only four citations, though, were handed out. New at 11 00, in an attempt to get some of those fireworks off the streets, east contra costa fire held its first fireworks takeback event over the weekend. It turned out to be pretty successful. The official nay necrotizing fascitis, or flesh eating bacteria. Carolyn died two weeks later after complications from surgery. Maybe if somebody somewhere would have recognized the dangers, they would have told her to get to a more urgent care. Some of the earliest symptoms of necrotizing fascitis would be an area of redness or swelling that is spreading rapidly. An area that is severely painful or associated with fever.
