We just got word into the newsroom right now about 20,000 customers in marin county are without power. So its going to be a hot night for those individuals until pg e can get the power up and running again. And everybody really should be kind of watching out for heat exhaustion. Weve had this much hot weather, you know, consecutively. It really can catch up on you. So make sure to hydrate. That really is kind of the best way to keep out that heat illness. Now, in case you missed it, look, ill know we all know it was hot outside, but i did want to show you a list here of the daytime verss the records. At 105. Smashed the old of 99 set back in 2015. Close to a record in livermore with 106. The old record was is 108, which was set back in 1967. So lots and lots of heat and i hear you, with all of this hot weather house just is not cooling down. Especially in contra costa, alameda counties. 80 still in concord at this hour. 79 in fremont. But check it out as you go close to the coast line. Were dropping down to 65 in oakland, 66 in San Francisco, and 63 in mill valley. Thats part of some larger changes were seeing right now. Certainly some increased confidence that the cooling trend begins a little bit tomorrow and then much stronger for the weekend. Look at the 24hour temperature change. Down eight degrees cooler in napa. Thats something to get excited about if youre living in napa right now. Ure beginning to feel an ocean breeze. Cooler in oakland and 2 in San Francisco. Overall as we hit the morning forecast, its going to be warm as you step out the door. Still lots of 70s here for the south bay peninsula and trivalley as you maybe get those kids back off torit here , 67 near the bay to 79 for the inland valleys. Little bit ofog near t beaches in San Francisco 69 and north bay were at 74. So, yes, but numbs ginning to cool a little bit. So instead of widespread 100s in the south bay, ive got it down to 97 in san jose. Its all relative, right . Little bit 98 in los gatos, 99 in gilroy. Still feeling the heat but not expected to be 106 in the east bay. 100 in pleasanton, 101 in livermore, 102 in concord. The peninsula 94 in palo alto, maybe have the day off, Half Moon Bay might be your spot, 65 degrees. That would feel really, really nice. In San Francisco 82 in the mission and the rest of you will be in the 70s. And the north bay, 101 . Clear lake, sonoma 95. Mill valley at 87 due to the ocean breeze beginning to move back in. And, yes, a little bit of cooling tomorrow but i know you want more cooling. So ais like saturday and sunday a weak little system off to the north should help to shove that heat to the south. 0 00. M. Is get hats going to that fog going up the coast line. The result of this, much better for us. 60s returning in San Francisco this weekend. And a pretty good start here as we move through next week. Inland valleys tomorrow down to0s saturday and also on sundays forecast. So we have to wait, but eventually it is here. So slowly but surely saturday will get here. Cant wait. Cant wait for that cooler weather. You got it. Jeff, thank you ve
