By about the second week of march, we have increased rain chances. We dont think at this point. This is not a big surprise for us here today as we have been tracking this for weeks and you know well over a month on end here of this drier trend that we were slipping into. We want to get you the latest on the snow pack and you can see northern tier, 51 . Southern 43 and that leaves us a statewide average of 54. It provides a third o the states water supply. Now when it comes to the traugt as of today, california in the yellow, which is mostly california, is now b ab normally dry with increasing moderate drought over chico, reno into nevada and parts of the bay area as well due to the lack of o rain. 6 to 11 inches down. And of course those low snow pack numbers. So a closer look here across contra costa and alameda counties. San ramon, walnut creek, all under this moderate drought so well continue to cover this as we head throughout the next several weeks and months ahead. Now on top of that drought news we had today, look at our temperatures. We did get some records. Richmond, oakland, livermore and san jose, all hitting new records with these 70 degree readings this afternoon. We had some 80s, but this is the last day this seven day forecast as we have some changes coming our way. Tomorrow morning, cloud cover increases. It will be mild with 50s for the trivalley peninsula in the south bay. 51 on the east bay. San francisco, 52 and north bay at 50 and as we move through the day tomorrow, not only clouds for the morning, but it stays into the afternoon. So its more of the high overcast and filtered sunshine for us so its going to feel a lot different albeit the temperatures wont drop a lot tomorrow. It will be very warm here for february. 77 in san jose. 76 in morgan hill. 78 up to millipedes. The temperature drop isnt going to be that notice b bable its the cloud cover that a lot of you will experience. 73 in redwood city. 63 in the marina and for the north bay, 76 in napa. 73 in mill valley. So clouds tomorrow. Little bit of a decrease in temperatures but then by this weekend, this is the big where your going to have to find your jacket and also put up with a little wind thats going to be moving in.
