He was forced to stay at home with his family in milpetis where during the beginning of the shut down when there was no table tennis competition and he made the time to strengthen his body. She spoke outside his home from munich, germany, where he returned to train with his professional club. We referred to him last year when he was training at world tennis Champion Academy in santa clara. Hes currently the top ranked male player and number 27 worldwide. Was the youngest american male athlete when he competed in the 2016 olympics. Now, when he was forced to stay at home in march and april, that was the first time in his career hes taken that long of a break from competition. It takes some time to get back in the flow when you come back youre really rusty. Youre not feeling your game so much. But at the same time, the same problem for everybody. One of the benefits of this time off from table tennis i focused a lot on my body and making it stronger and not have any of the stresses of the normal table tennis life.
