Look who came crawling back. Yep. Trump went on and on this morning for 53 minutes most americans were like, hey, if we wanted to hear the president ramble about nothing for an hour, wed have watched the coronavirus briefing. [ light laughter ] the interview with fox friends went about how you would expect at one point, trump made a a pretty shocking claim about how long mailin voting could delay the results of the election listen to this if it doesnt work out, youre not going to know the november 3rd election results. Im talking for the country. It could be for months and months i mean, actually, it could be for years. [ laughter ] jimmy months or years. Its an election not the results of a covid test. [ laughter ] yeah, trump was like, its going to take a while. Imagine the time it takes me to walk down a ramp now double that. [ light laughter ] i was wearing wooden i was wearing wooden soled shoes, or leather soled, brand new, made for wood they were wooden i was wearing clogs. [ laughter ] at one point, trump was asked about schools reopening and heres what he had to say. My view is the schools should open. This thing is going away it will go away like things go away and my view is that schools should be open if you look at children, children are almost and i would almost say definitely but almost immune from this disease. [ crew groans jimmy for example, ive had people coughing on don jr. s face for months and so far nothing. At that point, dr. Birx wrapped her scarf around her eyes and walked into traffic. Shes like even Brian Kilmeade seems to be losing faith in trump, because after that he poured out a diet coke and sang its so hard to say goodbye to yesterday.
