Reporter the department of elections reports that 62 of all registered voters in San Francisco have already cast their ballots. It felt like we were almost back in summer today. It was a little bit warm out there for some of the inland valleys. Just a couple of degrees above average, but were really going to stay in this nice stride of weather as we head through the next few days. If you still have to drop off your ballot tomorrow, i think weve got some perfect weather for you. Lets go ahead and get started off in that microclimate forecast. Well begin with tomorrow morning. And if youre up early to drop off that ballot, youre definitely going to need your light jacket. Were down to 48 here in the south bay, so feeling a little bit chilly. 49 for the peninsula with some areas of fog and also the trivalley at 47. Well see more areas of patchy fog near the east bay, San Francisco, and the north bay as well starting off with those 40s to low 50s. Temperatures as we move through my forecast tomorrow do begin to cool off a couple degrees. I think its going to make it even nicer outside. Remember that new sunrise and sunset with our time change that happened this weekend. So our sunrise, 6 35 in the morning. And that sunset, as many of you know right now, a lot earlier here at 5 06 at night. Lets bring you down to my numbers in the south bay. Well put it at 78 in los gatos, 75 in san jose. Notice the wind is relatively light tomorrow between 5 to 15 miles per hour. We have mostly sunny skies. Danville up to 77 tomorrow. Over to oakland, well be at 71. Lets bring you to the peninsula where more of those 70s continue. San francisco, its going to be a chilly day. Widespread 60s across the board from the outer sunset at 60 to downtown 65. And for the north bay, we are at 77 in napa and 75 in santa rosa. So tomorrow looks excellent for election day, but once we hit later on this week, i am seeing some larger changes in the forecast. Its all about this colder storm dropping down. Now, it had looked like maybe wed get some really good chances of rain, but at this point i think its a better bet for the colder air with some spotty chances of rain for the bay area. Let me show you that better in my futurecast. You can see once we hit friday morning, most of the wet weather is off to the north. As we head through friday and saturday, were really not seeing a big chance of rainfall. Then by sunday there is the possibility of a few showers for us but the storm really hitting the sierra much, much harder there as we move through sunday. So look at these totals for the sierra. An early look shows some of the Higher Elevations could see around a foot of snow. Kingville 15 inches. South lake tahoe at 8. For us here back across the bay area, election day in San Francisco, 68. Then well drop it down to a colder 59 on friday. Then our best bet of a few spotty showers on sunday. 59 in San Francisco with trace amounts to a tenth of an inch. For election day for tomorrow for the inland valleys, 79 degrees. Look at that drop by saturday or really even friday, down to 60. Then by sunday were at 57 with trace amounts to about a tenth of an inch of some showers. So tomorrow looks pretty much pictureperfect too guys. Then this weekend time to get the jackets out. Its definitely going to be a chilly one headed our way this upcoming weekend. Thank you, jeff. Get out and vote. No excuses. Great weather tomorrow. Coming up, first the fires and now the potential for mudslides. Santa cruz county laying out new plans to keep everyone in the czu fire zone safe this upcoming winter.
