They plan to submit vaccine for approval within days and just finished phase three testing and is said to be 95 effective. Pfizer adds effective for older people and has no serious side effects. The Company Expects to make 50 million dose this is year and more than 1 billion by the end of 2021. Last week pfizer initially said its vaccine was 90 effective. On monday moderna said its vaccine was nearly 95 effective. Pfizers vaccine needs to be stored in extremely cold temperatures. And then weve seen some heavy rain moving through los altos and approaching palo alto. Through the Santa Cruz Mountains where it is pouring right now, but that may affect the commute on 280. Moving over to san jose, some light rain returning to the city right now, and that will be moving over to milpitas in the next few minutes. As we get a look at whats going on and the rain measured, high amounts for places like mt. Tam, 4 inches of rain. Over to santa rosa an inch of rain there. Napa had half an inch of rain and 0. 3 for San Francisco. Almost a quarter inch in the East San Jose and alum rock. And then for Scotts Valley an inch and a half. Almost an inch and a half for mt. Diablo. Looking at the sierra snowfall, weve also measured for the season a couple feet of snow and its still coming down as that winter storm warning continues. Here were looking at the rain tapering off the next few hours but there still may be spotty rain through at least early in the afternoon. The rest of the day will be clearing out as were still looking at some rain chances for parts of the north bay for early in the afternoon, but the rest of the forecast is all dry.
