KPD makes meth arrests after multi-county chase Kewanee Police Department On June 26, the Kewanee Street Crimes Unit began an investigation involving the distribution of methamphetamine in the 200 block of East Second Street. The investigation culminated with a search warrant on a suspected drug house, a high-speed pursuit through multiple counties, five suspects arrested for methamphetamine related charges and the seizure of approximately 1 ½ ounces of methamphetamine. The Street Crimes Unit was assisted by members of the Blackhawk Area Task Force and the Kewanee PD patrol division during the investigation. During the course of the investigation, a search warrant was obtained for the residence of 216 East Second Street. During the raid, four individuals were arrested for various drug charges and approximately 4 grams of methamphetamine were seized. Jennifer Ince, 27, of Wisconsin, Candice Tuck, 28, of Kewanee, and Kyle Powell, 31, of Kewanee, were all arrested for possession of methamphetamine less than 5 grams. Dustin Brock, 32, of Galva, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine in addition to an arrest warrant for the Granite City Police Department in Illinois for failure to appear on the original charge of methamphetamine delivery. Ince, Tuck, and Powell were all released with a notice to appear in court. Brock was transported to the Henry County Jail and held on his arrest warrant.
