Police say the man arrested for a deadly hit and run on interstate 80 was in court today. Police say 47yearold fred lowe was drunk when he caused a fivecar pileup saturday in san pablo. Lowe immediately took off, but the chp did catch up with him. Four people were killed. Earlier today lowe was arraigned on seven charges, four counts of murder, dui, repeated dui and fleeing the scene. There is more than sufficient evidence to file the murder charges. A federal judge has ruled Albany High School acted within its rights in suspending five students who liked racist posts. The scandal sparked protests on campus in march.
