The union says the workers are getting priced out of their own city. What were really asking the city to do is help us to break even. The citys projections show meeting the unions demands could lead to layoffs and a 20 million deficit. But the union says the city is underprojecting revenue. Firefighters are now struggling for a fourth day to get a hand on the wildfires raging in southern california. The number of evacuations are still in effect thousands of them. The thomas fire is the largest, but the skirball, creek and rye fires to the south and west are threatening thousands of homes. Here are the latest numbers.
