Reporter thats right, police said this afternoon that the suspect had two loaded handguns in his car. They were legally registered to him, and they are not sure but i think that they might have been part of his daily routine to bring those guns with him. But, when he was fired yesterday he did not go home or anywhere else, he went back to his car, picked up those two guns and then came back to the dealership, where he shot his two managers, and then, himself. Reporter 60yearold stephen lief was fired from his job as a Parks Department employee at about 4 15 p. M. , but he did not go home. Police said he went to his car, parked at the Morgan Hill Ford store and retrieve two handguns, and before going back to his normal workspace. Police say his supervisor, 38 yearold javier soto took into a back office. During that conversation, the suspect is shot javier at pointblank range killing him instantly. Reporter it was then that police say the parts and service manager, 59yearold ryan light responded to the gunfire. It looks like he tried to intervene and figure suspect down with physical force. Unfortunately, the suspect overcame him, and shot him twice. Reporter police say leap then walked to a curb and shot himself in the head. Its clichi, but sometimes its true. You just dont know people and its the quiet ones. I just think its really sad. Reporter she has lived across the street from the suspect for 15 years. She said he lived all by himself and never had any visitors. Police raided his home, busting down the front door after the shooting, and recovered multiple guns from the home. The lawsuit alleges that former caseworker and counselor kevin thorpe sexually abused Robert Kennedy and his brother when they were teenagers. The lawsuit also alleges that the boys center and its employees knew about the abuse, ignored evidence, and covered it up. I was blamed, i was called a liar, and i was judged, even though i have evidence. Even though he admitted he sexually abused me. Thorpe was fired after his arrest two years ago, he is now serving a 21 year prison sentence. Lawyers say other members of the staff who knew about the abuse still work at the school.
